User Interface Standards

The User Interface Standards refer to cross cutting features that should be present in all modules and functions that are built for CAISI. These should be reviewed before starting development on CAISI.

New Page for New Screens

This has come up as a bug for users in multiple pages in CAISI. Typically, a user clicks on a link and the page he/she is viewing is replaced by a new page. Users then reflexively close the page and lose work done on the previous page. Caisi should default to opening up a NEW window (rather than replacing one window with another). That way:

1) You can view/ cut/ paste multiple bits of info. on the same patient from various windows

2) It also will reduce the likelihood that the info we're typing in a window will be lost because a new window has replaced it and that page is deleted.
