2009 BC Usergroup meeting-March 27, 2009

We have a date for the 2009 BC Usergroup meeting-March 27, 2009 10:00 am -6:00 pm.

The meeting will be held in the Chan Centre auditorium, 950 West 28th Avenue, in Vancouver. The Chan Centre is located inside the Child and Family Research Institute (CFRI), which is in the north-west corner of the grounds of BC Children’s & Women’s Hospitals.

Please mark your calendars for this important meeting.

We would appreciate it if you could RSVP to this google spreadsheet .

We are also soliciting input for agenda items. There is a place you can enter your suggestions on the spreadsheet.

Last year we had a very dynamic meeting with over 65 BC users in attendance. If you are a new user, this is a great way to learn how to use OSCAR to your best advantage and how the community works. There will also be a break out meeting for MOAs and we encourage you to bring your staff.

Items already on the agenda include:

Demonstration of new features: the new inbox for scanned documents, customizable CDM flow sheets

  • Discussion about development: the BC billing and WCB update, the prescription module update
  • How to make your own eforms workshop with Dr. David Page.
  • Updates on MyOSCAR and MyDrugRef with David Chan
  • The second annual OSCAR awards

While you are marking your calendars, here are two more dates for upcoming meetings:

The 2010 OSCAR BC Usergroup meeting will be Monday April 19 and/or Tuesday April 20, 2010 at the Paetzold Centre at VGH

We have applied for the 3rd National OSCAR Usergroup meeting in Calgary, Oct 29-31 at the FMF

We hope everyone will turn out for this meeting. Thanks to Lee Saxell for finding us a room to meet in.
