OSCARcanada User Group has planned a dynamic and jammed-packed meeting. You will see new and upcoming features of OSCAR including the new encounter page. We will plan future development and discuss future priorities for OSCAR. Topics for discussion include incorporating clinical decision support into OSCAR, improving chronic disease flow sheets, how best to use the new encounter page and suggestions for improvement, using reports and templates, using the prevention module to generate reminder letters, tips and tricks for users and more. David Chan will update us on MyOSCAR (a personally controlled health record) and introduce MyDrugRef (a social networking program for accessing drug information). Dr. Cameron Ross will demonstrate the fantastic new tools for managing complex patients with chronic diseases. Patti Rodger-Kirkpatrick will show how to use OSCAR to make it easier for staff to provide physician support.
