The CAISI system overall is a system for integrating case management care within and between multiple agencies and multi-disciplinary teams. As such there are many configurations of this system that can be set up using OSCAR Properties.

For installations with multiple agencies and facilities, it is desirable to track where the intake was done to protect client privacy, ie cannot access the intake information in other agencies without consent, hence location of intake information is required in these circumstances |

| Registration intake: bed program admission if remote admission not allowed |
In single agency installation, an admission to a bed program is associated with a discharge from the current bed program. In multiple agency installation it may not be desirable to discharge someone from a remote location. In this option, a warning comes up when an admission is attempted stating that you cannot make an admission because the client is currently in admitted elsewhere in the situtation where the agency governing the multiple agency installation wants to prevent multiple bed program admissions. In this case the option of ""Intake without admission, sign and save" is activated as well |
